Wherever we operate, we apply both our multinational strength and our local knowledge. Our multi-skilled, multi-local and multidisciplinary business has been established in the Gulf for over 40 years, having first carried out design and supervision commissions in the Gulf area in 1967. The regional head office (Dubai) was established in 1979 and Atkins in the Middle East and India now employs around 2,000 staff serving Gulf clients across all market sectors from offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Manama, Kuwait City, Muscat, Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah and Bangalore. Our multidisciplinary approach means we employ a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning and consultancy professionals across the full spectrum of the built environment who work with our clients from the outset of a project. Shaped by our customers' needs, we focus on quality and world class design and excellence, whilst striving to add value and be flexible to the evolving needs of a changing society. Supported by full accreditation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, we deliver international standards of consultancy at a local level, providing clients assurance that all our work is performed in accordance with internationally recognised quality management systems for both small and large projects. We offer a total programme management solution and use innovative thinking and new technologies to optimise the long-term performance of our clients’ assets.
