'The Montgomerie' Clubhouse

Atkins was commissioned to provide full design services including architectural and building design services for the clubhouse for ‘The Montgomerie’ golf course located in the heart of the Emirates Hills development in Dubai. The Clubhouse is located on prime land with maximum visual exposure to the golf course and lakes.
The entrance to the Clubhouse features double storey volumes with visually impressive interiors. The ground floor ccommodates the restaurant, a luxurious spa/fitness centre and separate prayer rooms for men and women. A cigar and billiards room and a large meeting room are also located on this floor all of which provide prime viewing areas and direct access to the terraces overlooking the 18th green.
The building rests in its own grounds surrounded by landscaped gardens and a pool. However, the leisure facilities within the clubhouse are primarily located in the basement and include a fully equipped gymnasium, a steam room, a plunge pool, a spike bar, changing facilities and a golf shop.
